low-cost therapy in Atlanta and online therapy across Georgia

About Angie Holland
Angie Holland is a Master's-level counseling intern training directly under Destiny in her approach to working with chronic illness. She's learning the same approach to working with medical trauma, health anxiety, and the nervous system impact of navigating dismissive healthcare systems, but at a significantly reduced rate.

Angie came to this work after her graduate coursework opened her eyes to how conditions, particularly those affecting women, are dismissed, minimized, and historically unacknowledged by the medical establishment. Through her study of illnesses like Breast Implant Illness and Rheumatoid Arthritis, she learned how isolating it feels when your reality is invalidated by providers or the people closest to you, and how powerful it can be to finally have language for your experience.

She's trained in goal-focused therapeutic frameworks and developmental psychology, which means she's learning to help clients understand not just what patterns exist, but why they developed and how to create change. She's committed to providing therapy that actually understands the realities of chronic illness, where the goal isn't to fix you or convince you to think more positively, but to help you live the most fulfilling life possible while navigating very real constraints.

As a student intern, Angie works under close supervision, which means you're getting someone who's deeply engaged in learning this specialty while being guided every step of the way by seasoned professionals.

Angie works under the clinical supervision of Dr. K. Lynn Pierce and the direction of Destiny Davis, LPC, CRC.

At this time, Angie is observing in sessions led by Destiny Davis.
