Chronic Illness Therapist in Atlanta, GA

Finally, therapy that gets it.

Care for people living with chronic illness. Training for the clinicians who serve them.

The world calls it a molehill. We know it's a mountain.

Led by therapists with chronic illness, we provide care with built-in accommodations and lived understanding—plus training that equips other clinicians to offer the same thoughtful, flexible support their clients actually need.

chronic illness therapy + training

You're not supposed to figure this out alone.

Clinicians are navigating complexity without enough support. Clients are navigating care without feeling fully understood. The result becomes unmet needs and eroded trust, creating a cycle that leaves everyone feeling alone.

At The Chronic Illness Therapist, clinicians gain the tools and confidence to show up differently. And clients finally feel believed in ways that reflect their real lives.

Hi, I’m Destiny

I’ve sat on both sides of this. Navigating the system, and working within it. I know how often people are dismissed.  How much gets missed. How rare it is to find something that truly fits real life. So I created what I couldn’t find.

Not just therapy, but a way of working that makes space for the full picture, for clients and for clinicians.

Because when clinicians feel steady and resourced, clients can finally feel understood and safe. Care becomes a living, human-centered exchange, restoring energy, nurturing trust, and opening room for joy, connection, and meaningful moments for everyone in the room, not just those with chronic illness.
