About:

Candra particularly enjoys helping high achieving adolescents and adults find meaning and satisfaction in their accomplishments and themselves. Candra is especially passionate when this intersects with complex trauma in childhood and/or with chronic gynecological and/or endocrine based illnesses or dysfunction such as endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, PMOS, PMDD, hormone imbalances (graves, hashimotos, insulin resistance, etc.), hysterectomy, medical trauma, and infertility.

When not in session, you can find her swimming at the gym, gardening or antiquing. On a nice day, she is equally likely to be hiking with her husband, Ben, and her Husky/Lab mix, Winnie. As a tea enthusiast, you might see her sipping a london fog, chai, or matcha latte. And as an avid traveler, she and her husband try to visit at least one national park per year with the goal to eventually visit all 63 parks in the United States.

I specialize in working with these populations:

  • Adenomyosis

  • Endometriosis

  • Fibroids

  • Hormone imbalances (graves, hashimotos, insulin resistance, etc.)

  • Hysterectomy

  • Infertility

  • Medical trauma

  • PMDD

  • PMOS

My expertise comes from:

“After a long and painful decade of seeking treatment from various specialists for worsening symptoms, I had three surgeries in three months for stage IV endometriosis in 2023. I had since become the counselor I wished I had to help me through my endo journey. I am due to complete my counseling education, which includes specialty education in chronic illness and disabilities, in December 2026.

I'm healthier than I've ever been but I'm still healing mentally and physically from these procedures in many ways. I've established and accepted my new and unique health baseline many times only for it to change on me again. I've learned that adaptability and compassion are key for me as I navigate my chronic illnesses day to day.”
