About:

Lexi Gross is a licensed therapist in North Carolina, Virginia, and Oregon. She works primarily with folks with chronic illness and pain as well as parents, parents to be, and professionals experiencing burnout or the challenges of perfectionism and years of over functioning and being "doers". She loves to support clients in learning new skills to cope with the symptoms and pain of chronic illness and pain, process past medical trauma, and support client's increase in confidence in attending medical appointments or procedures. She incorporates a combination of Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Somatic Experiencing in her work with clients. She also will facilitate the use of Safe and Sound Protocol with clients to use in and out of session. She enjoys helping her clients increase their ability to be present with skills other than just breathing exercises.

Lexi currently lives in Staunton, VA, offering only telehealth sessions at this time (In person in the Charlottesville area coming soon).

She provides individual and group therapy. She offers 2-3 groups per year and all are focused around chronic illness/pain and/or the intersection of chronic illness and pregnancy/parenting.

She has lived experienced with chronic illness (MCAS, hypermobility, CIRS).

She has been in Private Practice for 4+ years.
